Meet Maya Caspary: EXO
Sales Manager for the German Market

Enhancing support for trade partners across the German-speaking region

Introducing Maya Caspary as EXO Sales Manager for the German Market.

As EXO Travel continues to expand its presence across Europe, the DACH market (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) stands out for its scale, sophistication and strong demand for meaningful long-haul travel. To support this momentum and further strengthen and expand the German-speaking team, EXO is pleased to welcome Maya Caspary as Sales Manager for the region.

Maya brings extensive B2B sales experience and a deep understanding of Southeast Asia’s travel landscape. Her background spans destination management, product development and tour operating, giving her valuable insight into how journeys are conceptualised, sold and delivered across the entire value chain.

‘Travel is my passion and creating unforgettable experiences is what drives me every day.’

Maya has been passionate about travel for as long as she can remember. Growing up in Munich, her father worked as a tour operator specialising in long-haul travel, giving her the opportunity to experience remarkable trips from a young age. Her relationship with her Taiwanese stepmother further encouraged a deep curiosity for East and Southeast Asia, leading her to study Sinology and later join a DMC in Thailand.

Her career then took her back to Germany for a Sales Manager role focused on Southeast Asia, where she worked for ten years before seeking a change of perspective. She switched sides into her family’s tour operating business, gaining exposure to product design and retail-focused commercial decision-making. Yet the draw of the B2B DMC environment proved stronger.

‘Working in the B2B sector has always given me the greatest enjoyment,’ Maya reflects.

‘‘I have always admired how EXO Travel combines unforgettable travel experiences with a strong commitment to environmental and social responsibility.’’

In her new role, Maya will focus on sustainable, strategic growth across the German-speaking market. She is particularly enthusiastic about supporting diverse customer needs with the most suitable solutions from EXO’s portfolio.

‘Through strategic cross-selling, I aim to contribute to positioning EXO as the undisputed market leader in the region,’ she says. ‘I am eager to leverage my organisational and communication skills to support our partners in bringing their tour ideas to life and building long-term, successful relationships.’

Outside of work, she enjoys skiing in the mountains during winter and weekend trips with friends in summer, often exploring new places and visiting art museums. Long-distance travel remains a favourite pursuit.
